Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Design and implement cloud-native software used by top-tier financial institutions.
\n Work across the stack \u2014 from front-end UX to back-end services and infrastructure.
\n Collaborate with product managers, compliance experts, and clients to solve high-impact problems.
\n Apply AI and automation thoughtfully, always keeping human context in the loop.
\n Engage in continuous learning \u2014 about new tech, financial markets, and emerging regulatory challenges.<\/p>\n
Requirements and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Manages complex functional and technical SAP ECC projects, enhancements, and programs within the firm\u2019s North American offering.
\nDelivers large-scale, complex programs that integrate processes with technology to achieve high performance for the company and customers.
\nDesigns, implements, and deploys SAP FI\/CO solutions to meet defined business goals.
\nMaintains skills in SAP FI\/CO applications process design and configuration; application design, development, integration, testing, and deployment; and application technical architecture.
\nImplements assigned enterprise\/local IT projects through their full life cycle, from project definition and approval through closing, including all project deliverables.
\nActs as the go-to person for business analysis for SAP implementations and maintenance.
\nCollaborates with internal and external personnel (customers and colleagues).
\nUtilizes expertise in IT Application products, potentially utilizing various resources and skill sets for additional assignments.
\nDesigns, develops, and produces standard and ad hoc reports and correspondence.
\nContributes to the IT Applications Team with initiative and assists others, even outside current skill set. <\/p>\n
Job requirements:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree preferably in business management, information systems, or related disciplines (experience can be substituted).
\nThree years of relevant SAP implementation experience, preferably with SAP ECC in multiple projects.
\nDemonstrated practical experience in IT project work, applications development, deployments, and upgrades.
\nDesign and implementation of SAP FICO processes in the discrete manufacturing industry, including GL accounting, AR, AP, Asset Management, Foreign Exchange handling, Bank Management, Tax Determination, Intercompany processes, Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA, etc.
\nIntegration into other logistics modules.
\nRollouts of existing SAP processes to North American locations, with localization to meet US regulatory requirements.
\nProjects involving special topics such as intercompany billing, Sales Order cost controlling, and Controlling for MTO or ETO manufacturing.
\nStrong functional knowledge and experience in Finance and Controlling for processes including GL, AR, AP, Intercompany, Asset Management, US taxes, foreign exchange, Banking, Credit management, Cost center accounting, Profit center accounting, COPA, cost element accounting, Cost object controlling, internal orders, and product costing.
\n1 to 5 years of experience working in SAP FICO on multiple projects in the above processes.
\nExperience in implementing interfaces with external taxation systems like VERTEX, AVALARA, etc.
\nExperience creating functional specifications for RICEF objects.
\nExperience working with developers.
\nGood knowledge of business processes in a typical manufacturing industry.
\nAbility to act as a business analyst.
\nSelf-motivated, takes initiative, and has a strong desire to learn new technologies and tools.
\nEssential mental\/physical functions: Detailed-oriented, pragmatic, analytical; excellent communication skills; utilizes time wisely; high level of team interaction; highly organized; works independently without continuous supervision; open and honest; willing to take lead in project management; physically able to maneuver in production areas (walking, reaching, lifting, sitting); utilizes multiple modes of transportation.
