Requirements and Responsibilities:

Manages complex functional and technical SAP ECC projects, enhancements, and programs within the firm’s North American offering.
Delivers large-scale, complex programs that integrate processes with technology to achieve high performance for the company and customers.
Designs, implements, and deploys SAP FI/CO solutions to meet defined business goals.
Maintains skills in SAP FI/CO applications process design and configuration; application design, development, integration, testing, and deployment; and application technical architecture.
Implements assigned enterprise/local IT projects through their full life cycle, from project definition and approval through closing, including all project deliverables.
Acts as the go-to person for business analysis for SAP implementations and maintenance.
Collaborates with internal and external personnel (customers and colleagues).
Utilizes expertise in IT Application products, potentially utilizing various resources and skill sets for additional assignments.
Designs, develops, and produces standard and ad hoc reports and correspondence.
Contributes to the IT Applications Team with initiative and assists others, even outside current skill set.

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in business management, information systems, or related disciplines (experience can be substituted).
Three years of relevant SAP implementation experience, preferably with SAP ECC in multiple projects.
Demonstrated practical experience in IT project work, applications development, deployments, and upgrades.
Design and implementation of SAP FICO processes in the discrete manufacturing industry, including GL accounting, AR, AP, Asset Management, Foreign Exchange handling, Bank Management, Tax Determination, Intercompany processes, Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA, etc.
Integration into other logistics modules.
Rollouts of existing SAP processes to North American locations, with localization to meet US regulatory requirements.
Projects involving special topics such as intercompany billing, Sales Order cost controlling, and Controlling for MTO or ETO manufacturing.
Strong functional knowledge and experience in Finance and Controlling for processes including GL, AR, AP, Intercompany, Asset Management, US taxes, foreign exchange, Banking, Credit management, Cost center accounting, Profit center accounting, COPA, cost element accounting, Cost object controlling, internal orders, and product costing.
1 to 5 years of experience working in SAP FICO on multiple projects in the above processes.
Experience in implementing interfaces with external taxation systems like VERTEX, AVALARA, etc.
Experience creating functional specifications for RICEF objects.
Experience working with developers.
Good knowledge of business processes in a typical manufacturing industry.
Ability to act as a business analyst.
Self-motivated, takes initiative, and has a strong desire to learn new technologies and tools.

Equipment used: Computers, monitors, peripheral devices; knowledge of MS Project Plan III, all MS Office applications, MS Teams; knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP, and previous ERP implementations.
